Comments about Point One Technologies DVDEZDO CD/DVD EZ Disc Dispenser - Holds up to 100 Discs - Non Scratch Design - Easy to Use (Orange):
I bought one of these in each of black, blue, and orange for the three types of discs I use.
This is a totally unnecessary gadget--certainly you can get by with just pulling discs off the spindles. But this thing works just as advertised and it's quick and easy to dispense a disc without fumbling. You pull the trigger, and out comes a disc. Reach into the hub with a forefinger, and pluck it out.
Fortunately, it's not expensive. I don't know how robust it will turn out to be, but then again, it shouldn't get a lot of abuse in use.
You use the cylindrical tub that a spindle of discs normally comes in. A breech-locking ring supplyed with the dispenser locks the tub to the dispenser.
It's just a tiny bit tricky to load. The stack of discs is held up by very narrow ridges covering angles of about 90 degrees at the front and rear of the rim of the bottom-most disc. Once you get that right (more quickly done than read about), it works fine.
The only criticism I have (because I have three of them) is that they don't stack. They really should be made to stack!
