This is a great TV for the price that I paid for it. Sure it's not 120 Hz compatible and the TV's contrast ratio of 7,000 : 1 has been nearly tripled on the newer Sony sets, but the TV still gives a very sharp picture if connected to a high definition source. I am a nit picker when it comes to my TV but am very pleased with the full 1080p picture when I watch Blu-rays. I recommend this TV if you can find it for the "right price" like I did. The real only problem I have with this TV is that I mount the TV so it hangs on the wall but the area where you plug in the cords is right in the center of the TV. The problem is that is where the bracket for the mount also goes so it's a real tight fit and my [$]10 Gps HDMI cord is really taking a beating and is getting bent 10 ways till Tuesday.

My room that it is in is a touch small,8x14, but it's at one end, and our chairs are at the other. Very easy to install on thr wall, with the wireing inside the stud wall. Instructions were easy to understand. Picture is great, and when I get HD sat. I know it will be even better.

The picture's great, the HD tuner is great, all of the picture settings are great.
The only thing that I find a nuisance is having to go through all of the used output channels before getting to the one you want. For example, I watch my movies, DVD,..etcs through a HDMI ouput, but I also use 3 other outputs, which I have to scroll through before getting to the channel that I want to see. I would've liked a remote where I could press one button and I am taken directly to the output that I want. Other than that, no complaints!

Haven't found anything I don't like about this TV. I recommend it highly. Shortly after it arrived I upgraded to digital cable with HD. The picture is superb! I've been a Sony TV fan for years but was ready to get a different brand when I found this one on B&Hs web site. The price with shipping was lower than any other TV I looked at, and I looked at quite a few. I can't say enough positive things about B&H or Sony. Now if only Blu-Ray players and DVDs would go down in price I could get it's 1080P display to come on!

Bought this tv about 6 months ago and could not be happier with the purchase. Great picture with blu-ray discs and excellent for video gaming.
I wish the remote was a little better and the interface can be a little slow, but at this price, its more than worth it!

This set is easily the biggest bang for your buck and meets all of my criteria... full 1080p, it's a LCD, it's a Sony. I used to work selling TVs, and I got these things out the door left and right. I think they're worth the price jump up from the KDL40S2010, but the KDL40XBR2/3 isn't really worth the extra dough. The set looks sharp (physically), has a beautiful, life-like picture with great detail, and is even EnergyStar compliant. This is the set I recommend to friends and family. I bought this TV in November. I have watched pricing since that time. This price was the lowest I have seen. The unit works great. The HD picture looks great. The only (mild) complaint I have is that I cannot block one of the inputs when I look through active inputs.

This is my first High Def TV and after careful research decided to buy this from B&H Photo. I've dealt with B&H Photo before and found their service and selection and price to be top notch.The TV is fantastic and delivers beautiful High Def quality. Playback of DVD's if excellent as well.Be aware, that standard broadcast channels do not display well on any High Def TV.
