Comments about Audio-Technica ATW-1823 Dual Wireless Combo Microphone System:
This is rugged gear designed for the video professional seeking a compact wireless dual mic system. Audio quality is excellent, and the system allows you to choose frequency for each transmitter/receiver pair. The receiver can be mounted to a shoulder mount camera, to a tripod, or clipped to your belt (with longer cables needed for the latter). The receiver comes with a well designed canvas cover with belt clip, not shown in the catalog illustrations.

Comments about Audio-Technica ATW-1823 Dual Wireless Combo Microphone System:
This product is perfect for the small remote shoot where you just need two mics. In my educational setting we always have speakers and audience questions or an MC introducing a speaker. It saves the hassle of lugging around an audio board and the hand held transmitter can be plugged into an output when there is an in-house sound system.

A rugged, compact wireless system that provides excellent versatility and functionality. Easy to use. Great sound
Easily mounts onto camera.
One slight drawback: the LCD is a little small, and the type is very fine.

Comments about Audio-Technica ATW-1823 Dual Wireless Combo Microphone System:
Company called this is camera mountable wireless system? You can't mount at all, unless you buy another set of adapter. Came with very sort length of XLR cable, which is very useless unless you buy longer cable so it can reach from camera to receiver (If you are going to tie or clip to your belt?)

Comments about Audio-Technica ATW-1823 Dual Wireless Combo Microphone System:
Researched a long time before buying this. Very impressed with the quality and the resulting recorded sound! Works great with my Rode NGT2 microphone. No longer have to worry about people tripping over my microphone cords and hurting themselves. One thing to note though, the plug on transmitter does not seem to supply sufficient phantom power to power the microphone so you will have to instal a batery in the mic itself (no problem really) The LCDs have very small print that can be hard to read, and the manual is a bit hard to understand at times. But on ballence this is one the best pieces of equipment I have ever purchased. I think I will allways value it greatly!
