I own a freelance video company and use wireless packs from time to time. I purchased the Audio Technica 1800 series for weddings. I was unimpressed with the sound quality. You can bring the audio into post and do a fair amount of correction, but it's still sounds "cheap." I guess you get what you pay for.....or do you?

great to have for my 1800 receiver which I bought with two plug transmitters ... this one is nice and light and so far has worked great! note I replaced the stock mike and use the stock mike as a backup

Mic has good pickup. Best to get it high on the collar. Love the battery base station, been using Shure's that I need to plug-in....nice to have a few less wires.
