The Audio-Technica ATM-450 is a cardioid instrument microphone designed with a side-address capsule allowing easy placement and flexible positioning on percussion, guitar cabinets, piano and more. The cardioid polar pattern is effective in reducing off-axis noise and feedback. The wide frequency response results in rich, natural detail. The ATM-450 features a low frequency roll-off switch for reducing low frequency ambiance and noise. A -10dB Pad switch provides added headroom and minimizes noise caused by transient peaks.
