The 16x9 Inc 169-HDV75X-82 0.75X Wide Angle Converter Lens offers a top-quality and cost-effective method of obtaining wider angle images with HDV cameras. This lens features a multi-mount system with both 82mm and 72mm threads. There is a protective ring over the smaller diameter threads that is easily removed and replaced by the camera operator.

- Wide Sunshade
- The ideal accessory for the 0.75X Converter, the wide sunshade offers the benefits of shading and protection while using the 0.75X Wide Converter. It is fully-compatible whether or not the Converter houses a filter. The unit simply slides on over the Converter lens and locks in place with a handy screw lock. Rugged yet lightweight the unit features a handsome rectangular professional looking profile.
- Front Filter & Mattebox Compatible
- The Converter's 95mm front thread allows users to directly thread mount glass filters and other accessories. Plus, this optical accessory integrates beautifully with professional mattebox systems such as those from Alfred Chrosziel.

This was perfect for filming landscapes in South Africa, though I did notice that when I had to zoom on anything there was blurring on the edges (which can be used to your advantage).

I am using this on a JVC GY-HD200U. There is too much vignetting. When you zoom to try and eliminate this, then you no longer have the wide angle. Picture isn't as sharp either.
