The Cavision FGM08-28 is a small gear for all Cavision follow focus systems. With 28 teeth, the mod 0.8 gear is designed specifically for film lenses and is 24mm in diameter. A follow focus system gives added focus control to users and can be vital in focus-critical situations, providing maximum control.

It's really easy to set up. The follow Focus is small but pretty smooth. The only problem is the 0.6 gears, what limits you. But it can easily be fixed with the 0.8 one. Bought apart. Good purchase.

I already owned a CAVision follow focus which I used on my broadcast video camera. Recently I purchased a Canon 5DmkII camera package and wanted to make use of my existing gear instead of having to buy all new gear. This small gear was easily swapped out on my follow focus, allowing me to pull focus on my Canon SLR lenses with the Redrock Micro gears attached. I then can easily remove it and swap back the Fujinon gear when I need to shoot with my broadcast lens.
