Comments about Olympus KA-333 Compaticord Connection Cord:
For some reason the attenuation factor of the Olympus KA-333 Compaticord is not specified in any description I've seen, but I measured it to be 44 db. I was able to feed a 1 Khz tone at both 0 db and +4 db into the microphone input of my Dell notebook without distortion and with a good level adjustment range. This stereo cord is 5 feet in length and rather skinny and flimsy looking. However, it really does do the job and I've used it successfully for a dubbing project. I mainly plan to use it with the Olympus LS-7 recorder which I will be acquiring in the near future. The LS-7 has only a microphone input but the KA-333 cord solves that challenge and should give this recorder all the versatility of the previous LS series models.

Comments about Olympus KA-333 Compaticord Connection Cord:
have a digital voice recorder that won't sync in the cradle; bought this cord to transfer audio from one recorder to another. quality of transfer file is great. insert into ear jack of defective unit and into mic of 2nd recorder, and "play"/"record" to transfer. works like a charm!
