Dust and other debris can damage the delicate print heads and mechanical components of an inkjet printer, shortening the overall functional life of the unit. Dust can also accumulate on the rollers and get onto your paper, possibly even ruining the prints. Protect your investment with this Epson Tumi Printer Cover for the Stylus Pro 3800 and 3880 printers.

Comments about Epson Tumi Printer Cover:
Great fitting cover for Epson 3880, well made and appears durable (only had it two weeks). Its a bit expensive but I bought it anyway to minimize dust contamination of prints. It even fits over the rear manual tray - tip: when putting the cover on, start with the BACK of the printer first, not the front, and it will slide right down over the rear manual tray and printer. Sized so is easy to put on and take off but doesn't look baggy. Folds up small when not in use.

Comments about Epson Tumi Printer Cover:
The Tumi fits my Epson 3880 like a glove. It's made of a heavy, stiff fabric that seems durable. I have not tried to clean it, but do take it to the door and knock the dust off of it.

Comments about Epson Tumi Printer Cover:
I like this cover very much. It does take a little understanding on how to take it on and off (because of the shape of the printer and the back rear feed path) but after once it is easy to do.
The construction is very good, probably better than it needs to be: it's protecting the printer from dust.

This cover fits the Epson Stylus Pro 3880 perfectly with the rear paper holder in place. Easy to put on and take off. The rear paper guide will not come off with the cover unless you are very impatient. It will keep the printer dust free when not in use.

Comments about Epson Tumi Printer Cover:
I already own a 4880 and the Tumi cover. I recommend the Tumi cover for the 3880 in order to keep the printer clean and to function properly. It is an important component of the system. I find the Tumi cover to be be necessary.

Comments about Epson Tumi Printer Cover:
It's a cover for a great printer. It fits like a glove, looks nice in my office, and feels like it will easily outlive the printer. I recall some reviews complaining about how tightly it fit. At least in my instance, if you put it on from the back it slips right into place without any trouble.
Great to have this to eliminate the worry of dust and dirt getting in and shortening the life of the printer.

For the price of the printer, I couldn't justify not getting a decent cover for it. It is heavy duty and fits very well.

Comments about Epson Tumi Printer Cover:
Dust and hair are any printers worst enemy. Regardless if you keep all the printer doors closed when not in use, dust will find it's way in. Having pets can be a problem (I have 2 cats). No matter how clean you keep your home or office, dust and animal hair will be attracted to your printer.
If you buy a high end printer like the Epson 3880, keep it covered with something when not in use until you can purchase a dedicated cover. I only wish they made a cover for my 2880

Comments about Epson Tumi Printer Cover:
Basically a nice (but pricey) cover, but some designer didn't actually try to use it. There is no allowance on the back of the cover for the power and USB cords, so the cover is pushed up instead of having openings to go around the cords.

Comments about Epson Tumi Printer Cover:
I bought a cover for my Epson 3880 printer, mainly to keep dust out, especially since my cat has become fond of jumping up on it. It's working as it should, keeping the dirt out. Once test will be how easily I can clean it.

Comments about Epson Tumi Printer Cover:
Like others have said, it's a little expensive, but well worth it. You buy filters for your lenses, right? The material is very durable and will surely outlast the printer itself. At RIT we have Epson 3800 printers without covers and sometimes you'll have to make two or three prints until you have one without dust on it. This will cost you paper, ink, and your valuable time. For the cost of the printer, this might be the best insurance you could buy for it.

Comments about Epson Tumi Printer Cover:
Without going into all the technical aspects of materials and manufacturing let me just say that if you want a terrific cover for your 3880 then this is it.
The cover is not cheap. But, it is well worth the money. Frankly, i don't know how they sell it for the current price. This is a cover that will keep your printer well protected and be around long after the printer has made it's last print.
If you are a quality conscious consumer, this is the cover for you!
