I'm using this card to adapt an Eye-Fi SD card to wirelessly send preview jpegs from my 5D to a computer. Data transfer speed is primitive by today's Type IV and 300X standards, but it's better than nothing, which is the only alternative. It will always live with my location kit in case I'm forced to resort to using an SD card in a CF-only camera body.

I tested this with a 1GB(Lexar), 4GB(ScanDisk), 8GB(Lexar), and 32GB(Kingston) SD cards. When testing they all worked the same but the speed was an issue when using different cameras. I contacted Jobo (the manufacture) which said their intention was not to use them in cameras but as another option to download an SD card.
Canon EOS 5D: slower than a Professional CF card but it worked.
Canon EOS 5D Mark II: worked . . . sort of . . . it was VERY slow when writing stills to the card. Due to this I did not shoot video.
Canon EOS-1Ds Mark III: VERY SLOW . . .
CONCLUSION:
I will be using in my CF card reader to download SD cards and as a back/last option when shooting.

Comments about Jobo SD/SDHC to Compact Flash Type II Adapter:
I bought this because I upgraded my camera and I had a bunch of SD cards that I didn't want to go to waste. It works great, but the only problem is that it's a bit slow.

Comments about Jobo SD/SDHC to Compact Flash Type II Adapter:
When I upgraded to the Nikon D300 I wanted a way to use my current supply of SD cards and this adaptor works. But the processing speed must be taken into consideration when using the adaptor. My initial test revealed that a spree of six shots to 8 seconds to write on the cf card and 28 seconds to the SD card that was twice as fast. That is over three times the length of time as the CF card. So if you use this product consider what and how you will be shooting so that you don't fill the buffer and miss shots waiting on the adaptor to record your shots.

Comments about Jobo SD/SDHC to Compact Flash Type II Adapter:
I bought it to use it with a Canon 7D. It does fit the 7D unlike comments on the contrary. It takes about 20 consecutive pixs before it starts slowing down to a crawl . If you want to do video with the 7D forget it, it does about seven seconds and stops for a long time to unload the buffer.
The idea is great but data transfer rate must improve dramatically to make it worthwhile.

Comments about Jobo SD/SDHC to Compact Flash Type II Adapter:
I bought this with high hopes, but not really expecting that it would work. I'm glad I was wrong! It works just like it's supposed to (on my Canon 50d) and I am now able to use all my old SD cards. Photos look great; no loss of sharpness, etc. It's great.

Comments about Jobo SD/SDHC to Compact Flash Type II Adapter:
I was skeptical that this would work, or at least work well, but I am very pleased with the results! I have at least a dozen SD cards that I thought I would never use again after upgrading to a 50D which uses CF. Sureeee wish I'd found this before I spent $100 bucks on TWO CF cards!

CF cards are getting harder to find. One can get great deals on SD cards. Nikon D70 had no trouble using this adapter to store pictures on an SD card.

Comments about Jobo SD/SDHC to Compact Flash Type II Adapter:
I now have a work-around extending the life of a trusty product. The SD reader on the wolverine 8000 will only read the older 2gb cards and will not recognize the SDHC format. The CF port on the Wolverine 8000 will read SDHC with this adapter. You also get an SDHC adapter for that older CF type 2 camera. CF cards are becoming more scarce and more expensive.......Win/Win

Comments about Jobo SD/SDHC to Compact Flash Type II Adapter:
I got this card thinking that it was going to fit into my Canon 7D. At the time I didn't ralise that there was a diffrence in size between the CF type I and the CF type II. This is a type II and will not fit in the type I slot that many digital cameras take, so be carefull and make sure you know what kid of card slot your camera has.

Comments about Jobo SD/SDHC to Compact Flash Type II Adapter:
I wanted to purchase an Eye-Fi Card to put in my camera so I could wirelessly send pictures from my camera to my computer. The Eye-Fi card only comes in SD Card form. [...] 5-D MArk II will not recognize the Eye-Fi SD card inside the adaptor. [...] A call to Eye-Fi explained that it wouldn't. I tried the SD card in my son's camera and the wireless transfer process worked flawlessly.

Comments about Jobo SD/SDHC to Compact Flash Type II Adapter:
I bought this so that I could use my many SDHC cards that I have for my 1DmkIII in my 5D2. Having taken a number of shots with it, for still photography it has worked very well. Another benefit is that it allows me to take the SD card and plug it into the camera adapter on my Ipad and download the photos, without draining the camera battery.
However, for those interested in the HD video, the card slows down the transfer rate to the point that the little temperature icon appears and you get at most 10 seconds of video at 1080p. Better to use the CF cards for video.

Owning several cameras that use different memory cards can be very costly. This Jobo adapter is the perfect solution! The SD cards are a little less expensive than the compact flash cards, this adapter allows you to use SD cards as. Compact flash card. I was so glad the adapter proforms perfectly. It does exactly what Jobo says is would.

Does the job. Works fine in a 1dmk2.
A bit slow.
I would not recommend this at all for high speed shooting.
