The PYRO PCI 64R2 3-Port 64-Bit PCI FireWire-400 Host Adapter from ADS-Technology adds 3 FireWire-400 ports to your computer. The perfect solution for connecting your FireWire devices to your computer, the card installs into an open 64-bit PCI slot.
The FireWire-400 bus supports data transfer bandwidth of 50MB/sec, allowing you to connect digital video cameras and external hard drives to your computer. This is an excellent solution for adding FireWire-400 capability to your computer.
- Avid Certification
- The PYRO has been certified by Avid for use with Xpress DV. It is one of a very few PCI DV cards that has met the stringent requirements that Avid demands for certification. This ensures that the card will work flawlessly with Avid's premiere DV editing system, Xpress DV. It is also fully compatible with DV-based editing software from Adobe, Apple, Pinnacle, Sony, Ulead and others.
