First time I have ever mounted speakers on the wall and this system was very easy to complete. I am pretty good with this stuff, so that helped, if your not very mechanically inclined, you could struggle, but you would get it done. My wife hates the bass because it is so good.

Jaw dropping sound quality fills the room, and nearly the entire house!

Wall attachment was slightly difficult, but the sleek package and appearance made it entirely worth the effort.

I bought my first HKTS system about 10 years ago. It's still in use in our home today. When it came time to add another system in our home theatre room I didn't hesitate to turn to the HKTS once again. I now have the older system and this newer system operating under the same roof along with HK AVR receivers and couldn't be happier with their performance. Great system!

I am impressed with these speakers. The Sub has plenty of power for some good explosion scenes or some powerful base hitting music.
I am pleased with this system, and I got a great deal through B&H.
The speaker mounts, on the other hand, were a bit difficult. After a bit of struggling, they came out looking good.

This set of speaker is my second set (additional to my current 5.1 to have 9.2 setup). The speaker gives clear power sound, with that 200W sub-woofer, it is just so perfect for home theater system. two sets would be perfect for 9.2 setup. Besides performance, the speakers are in shinny black paiting matches most of home applicants.
I love it so much.

I recently purchased this speaker set with an HK AVR 1600 receiver. The speakers sound great, with awesome clarity at the high end, and the sub hits bass you can feel! The room they're set up in is about 12 ft X 20 ft, and these speakers fill it perfectly, not to mention the piano black finish looks sick with my 52" Samsung. Next up is buying another pair of the satellites to make a 7.1 system.

B&H - company is excellent will buy again

I purchased a HKTS-18 Harmon Kardon surround system was a little hesitant if it would perform as good as the Bose systems (around $1200) I have a friend who owns one and he brought it over to compare - both were right on the money but the HKTS-18 being only around 1/4 the price is a way better "bang for the buck" one thing for Bose is that the speakers are smaller - half the size BUT the H-K's are richer because of mid-range capabilities. The H-K's can get louder than the Bose's although both got way too loud to listen to comfortably. The H-K system cranked up would actually shake my windows while I was comparing both (I thought it was going to break them)
I purchased two more HKS-9 speakers to complete my system to 7.1
In my opinion don't waste your money on the B as the HKTS-18 Harmon Kardon system is way... way .. better.
I purchased the complete surround system - Onkyo Receiver - and a Sony PS3 (blu-ray player) for about the cost of 1- set of the 5.1 BOSE speakers .... YOU DO THE MATH

I used these speakers/sub with my Onkyo 607 and the sounds is amazing, I have it setup in my condo with the sub in the corner, barely turned on and it litterlly shakes my condo! The surround sounds is great. The whole system works great together! I watched "eagle eye" on blu-ray thru my PS3 and it was like I was in the theather! I'm very happy with my purchase. The sub might be a bit big, but it's better to be bigger and turn it down, than to me too small and not be able to turn it up enough. Thats my opinion. I love it. And I did buy the speaker stands (HTFS-2)for the rear, they look AMAZING! So much better than some $40 stands from [...]

I have heard a lot of sound systems in many different homes but nothing as pure as the ones these speakers produce. Harmon really has perfected sound and engineering, and I have the AVR 347 receiver hooked to these speakers and both to a 52" Sony Bravia and can rock the house, literally. FOr the money, I doubt you will find anything else close.

When building my new home theater system I originally purchased a Bose Acoustimass 10 speaker system for about [$] but I was very quickly disappointed with how bad this system sounded, the bass was boomy and sloppy and most importantly, there were no mid-range frequencies anywhere to be found! I returned it after a couple of weeks of trying to make it sound right.Then I purchased the Harman/Kardon HKTS18 and I must say it sounds amazing by comparison and at about 60% less cost that the Bose.Like most of these speaker systems it is a bit more suited for movies than it is for music, but wile it may not compete with much more expensive high-end standalone speaker systems, it definitely holds it own or beats any other subwofer/satellite system at any price - that's how good it sounds!On the minus end, there is still a certain small lack of mid-range sounds to my ears, but again, that's only by comparison to standalone speakers systems costing much, much more. Another thing is that, like with most speakers, it is best to use this system in rooms with plenty of soft(sound absorbing) surfaces(i.e. carpet or rugs, curtains, cloth sofas) and not so much in rooms like my photo studio with hard-wood floors, leather sofas, exposed tall glass windows, few curtains, and no rugs - as all of this can make the speakers sound crashy and boomy. Having said that, I highly recommend this system. For the price you will not find a better sounding subwofer/satellite system - even if you spend 2 or 3 times more on another brand.

Bought this system and had it installed with our VIZIO HDTV and Sony BRAVIA Receiver. FANTASTIC SOUND!!!!The packaging was superb [...]. I'm glad I shopped at B&H and took a chance on them. The price was right based on the outstanding quality of this system.

Nice sound out of such small speakers. I bought these to replace my Huge Cerwin Vega RE-30 Speakers, and though they dont have the same "Richness" as the Vegas, they are very clean, and they do play movies much better. I highly recommend them for Videophiles, but if your looking to rock out you might want to shop around abit more. All said, I am still happy with the purchase, and the extra room I have now.

I bought these speakers when they were $900, they were wellworth it then and definitely well worth it now. Don't letthese speakers fool you with their size. Sub puts out heartthumping base and how ever loud you go you never EVER loseclarity.PRO: Sound amazing,PRICE, no need to buy speaker stands theycome with wall mounts if you so choose. sub is dual voltage
