The included HKTS-15 home theater 5.1-channel (500W) speaker system is packaged with four satellite speakers, one (2-Way) center speaker, and a powered subwoofer that will simply knock your socks off.

Moreover, high-current amplification, A/V sync delay, component video switching, Dolby Pro Logic decoding, super-fine slow motion, and a built-in video test signal are just a few of the high-end features offered in the CP 45 package. Logic 7 Processing
Originally developed for high-end processors, Logic 7 processing is packaged with the AVR-245 receiver. Proprietary digital algorithms are used to create a more cohesive and enveloping sound field from the tens of thousands of currently available analog matrix soundtracks. Logic 7 is capable of reproducing either five or seven channels of exquisite sound from your two-channel source.
7.1-Channel and Digital Audio Decoding
The AVR-245 uses specific Dolby Digital and DTS codecs to reproduce an enveloping 7.1-Channel surround sound experience. The unit encodes Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital EX, Dolby Pro Logic II, Dolby Pro Logic IIx, Dolby Virtual Speaker, Dolby Headphone, DTS, DTS 96/24, DTS Neo:6, DTS ES, Logic 7, and Cirrus Logic 49500 series DSP processing.
High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI)
If you're looking to pump high-definition DVDs or TV broadcasts into your home theater, the CP 45 will do the job. The DVD-37 player features an HDMI output, capable of upconverting video signals to 720p or 1080i. In addition, the AVR-245 receiver offers dual HDMI inputs for connectivity to other high-definition components.
Multi-Format Playback Capability
The DVD-37 offers a full-range of playback capabilities for enjoying movies, music and images. It can playback DVD-Audio/Video, DVD-/RW, DVD+R/W, DVD-R, DVD+R, CD, CD-R/RW, SVCD/VCD, and MP3/WMA/JPEG files.
High Current Capability (HCC)
HCC is an overall design approach encompassing everything from transformer design and storage capacitor size to discrete output circuitry and minimal use of negative feedback. This enables the AVR-245 to combine tighter bass, superb transient response and enhanced presence at any volume level.
Digital Surround Sound
Harman Kardon's CP 45 reproduces Dolby Pro Logic, Dolby Pro Logic II, Dolby Digital and DTS audio at a frequency response of 20Hz - 20kHz. The dynamic range of the CP 45 system is so well balanced and matched that the center, front and rear channels blend seamlessly.
Built-In AM/FM/XM Tuner
Enjoy your favorite radio broadcasts with surround sound processing, with the built-in AM/FM wide-band tuner. Also, XM Satellite Radio reception is possible with an optional XM antenna module and subscription to XM service.
EzSet Feature
With the push of a button and in a moment's time, your AVR-245 becomes fully calibrated to balance-out your home theater speaker system. Bottom line, the adjustment most critical to multi-channel movie soundtrack reproduction has been made virtually foolproof.
Bridge Ready
The Bridge is a docking station (option) that enables connectivity from your iPod to the AVR-245's DMP connector input. Your iPod effectively becomes another Harmon Kardon component flowing through the AVR-245.
Upgradable System
If Harmon Kardon releases a software upgrade for the AVR-245 operating system at some time in the future, the upgrade will be possible through the RS-232 serial port.
Color-Coding System
The CP 45 uses an easy-to-use surround-sound channel color-coding system established by Consumer Electronics Association (CEA). Included with this system are a set of colored stickers that you would use on the speakers and corresponding speaker wires, thus, making your speaker installation simple and fun.
