Canon WP-DC7 Case for SD900
With the Canon WP-DC7 waterproof case for the PowerShot SD900, you can use your PowerShot SD900 digital camera to take underwater shots at depths of up to 130' (40 m). Of course it's also ideal for taking worry-free pictures in the rain, at the beach, or on the ski slopes.
You can use your camera's internal flash for lighting purposes. Or, use the internal flash to trigger a slaved external strobe like those made by Fantasea, Sea & Sea, Ikelite, Sunpak or Sealife. The camera has a underwater white balance setting for available light photography.

All camera controls are available and work well. Comes with adjustable wrist lanyard (full open is about 5.5 inches for thick scuba gloves). Also comes with over the shoulder carrying strap for land. Flash defuser comes with securing strap as well. Flash defuser clicks into place on lens extension and is secure. Instruction manual and tube of O-ring lube included.
Two things I would suggest you buy, are:
45mm push on lens cap that is deep (I had an old vivitar cap that is 1/2 inch deep, works wonderful)
Also cut and used a iPhone face protector to cover the viewer area of the case as it will be prone to scratching.
I own a Amphibico MV-1 housing for my canon Optura but will be traveling with this housing since I can shoot both still and HD Video with this camera at an 1/8th the wieght! Love it!

Tried it at the local community pool as a prelude to a coming snorkeling trip and it worked great. Flash diffuser very helpful underwater. Very little silicone grease was needed on the gasket - half a pea worth created a good seal. Wrist and neck straps give good options for swimming while carrying it.
Seems very sturdy.
