I used to own a plastic grain focuser and this thing blows that one out of the water. The all-metal construction makes this thing almost bullet proof. It is really nice because it has a screw so you can tighten the optics down if they loosen over time. It works great for both b&w and color enlarging.

If you have a lightly exposed (bright) negative you need to put sunglases or the light will be too strong to lok at. For regular negatives does the job.
