Definitely easier to work with than spray or heat-sensitive adhesive paper. Follow the instructions that come with the product to avoid aggravation. You will need a utility knife to cut the adhesive around your picture. You might also need to keep the adhesive paper from curling up during mounting; whatever you use to weigh it down, you will need to use something like wax paper to keep it from sticking to the adhesive. Great product that pays for itself quickly if you consider what framing shops charge to mount large pictures...

I've used this product for about 6 years. It's a great way to do mounting and matting of prints in your home. Very easy to work with. Just be certain to follow the directions.

I used the product to adhere large digital photographs to a backer for matting and framing. The adhesive is easy to work with, mess-free (follow directions carefully) and strong. It works and looks exactly as sprayed-on adhesives do without the mess, the fumes or the overspray. A must-have for me!

I used the product to mount photographs for exhibition. It worked very well for adhering prints to backer board, especially for poster-sized images. Once aplied, it's as if you've sprayed adhesive but without the mess and fumes. An elegantly simple and effective product with many applications besides photography.

This is so much better than using the spray adhesive. Not only is it easier to work with; the adhesive does not harm our environment.

I used 3M positionable adhesive to mount a photo exhibit for a local museum. This was my first use and was very pleased with the results. It was surprisingly easy to apply and adjust as necessary. Just about as fast as dry-mounting without all the equipment. It would be nice if were less expensive.

On a visit to a framing shop they passed this tip along to me. This tool has almost no mess, no smell and is easy to use. I also pick up from the grocery store some parchment paper I lay down under the print, which again helps to reduce mess and speed in the cleanup.

I use this product to mount Epson premium glossy photo paper onto board. It is only a little more expensive than dry mounting tissue but without the heat. The only downside I know of is there is no mention of the archival properties.

Lowest cost per image, any image size or shape, very long life in storage, great for other paper mounting (posters, etc) also.
Only caveat - watch out for adhesive getting on your fingers and transferring to the face of print.

This product is a great alternative to the expensive process of dry mounting photographs. Very easy to use. Will be using this mainly for larger photographs that I have had some problems with the photos wrinkling. I used the adhesive with an archival backing board.

I was able to use the mounting adhesive with no waste mounting 8 X 10 photos. It allows repositioning on mounting board and creates a bubble free permamnet bond once pressure is applied. Residue can be removed with alcohol and a Q tip.
