The battery works great and greatly extends the time that the equipment can run. However, the "new" unit that I received in March 2010 was delivered with a Battery Qualification Test run on 08/08/08 at 1:44 PM. I did confirm that the 3 year warranty is from the time of purchase, but it's rather disturbing that the battery has been on the shelf this long.
