Comments about Tamrac 5551 SpeedRoller 1 Case:
The SpeedRoller 1 holds all of my essential gear, is easier on my back then the back pack I had been using. It is well constructed.
Wish it had a place to attach my tripod.

Comments about Tamrac 5551 SpeedRoller 1 Case:
I needed a rolling case, smaller than my big strongbox, that would fit in an overhead bin in aircraft and this one is perfect.
Strong and durable, yet small enough to do the job, I carry two DLSRs with lenses attached, a flash plus another four additional lenses in the main area.
In the durable plastic pockets on the inside of the lid, I carry extra batteries, a synch cord, remote trigger, cleaning items and all the other "stuff" photographers need and have to have.
In the outside zippered compartment, I carry a laptop where it is easy to take out when going through airport security.
This is a true workhorse that takes its job in stride.

I found this to be a great case for my camera because it allows me to move from location to location, quickly access a fully assembled (lens and flash attached) camera and replace it in a protective, convenient rolling case. The dividers are easy to customize for equipment.

Comments about Tamrac 5551 SpeedRoller 1 Case:
After years of lugging 15 lbs of gear on and off airplanes in a bag on a big strap, I finally decided to get a roller bag. What a difference! There is no strap to hang up on seat arms as you pass up and down aisles. The weight is on the floor and not on my shoulder or neck, slipping down, and pulling off my sweater or jacket. The interior has enough placeable dividers to accommodate a large variety of shapes and sizes., and the whole thing is hard enough to take a few knocks without worrying about the safety of the contents. Money very well spent!

Comments about Tamrac 5551 SpeedRoller 1 Case:
The Speedroller is strongly built, with smooth rolling wheels and a strong handle. The material looks similar to Tumi. Very pleased with the amount of storage area. I have 2 cameras, 4 lens (including Canon 70-200 mm L), speedlite, light meter, filter case with camera mount, and multiple odds and ends. No problem with overhead storage. So far haven't found anything don't like

Comments about Tamrac 5551 SpeedRoller 1 Case:
Prior to having this case, we have had many various cases from several different manufacturers all in attempts to consolidate the wedding gear into ONE travel friendly case.
With this case we are able to carry two camera systems and various lenses all in one. We are also able to carry it on the plane as it is designed to fit in the overhead compartment so long as you don't expand it too much (using all the outer zipper compartments.
The wheels roll smooth so as not to jar the gear when running to catch a flight or just getting it out of the car to the event. The construction is solid and protective and the lenses sit firm in their specified internal compartments and don't jostle around.
It would be nice if it were a little deeper but then it wouldn't fit in the overhead compartments on flights so it's more an airline restriction than a manufacturer restriction.
We do tend to carry more than we need (in case) like most shooters do so we've eliminated all other cases and are going to use two of these instead... yes, it's that nice.

Comments about Tamrac 5551 SpeedRoller 1 Case:
I purchased the SpeedRoller 1 to facilitate traveling with my camera equipment and laptop and it has met that need admirably. I easily fit my camera, 3-4 lenses, laptop, cords, and other accessories with room for another SLR body. With the laptop packed, the case is front heavy and tends to tip over on the laptop pocket. It rolls smoothly and fits easily inside the overhead compartment of aircraft.

If you travel, this is the case for you. I have 2 bodies Nikon D200 & D300, 3 lens, flash, & attachments. This bag did a great job and is airport friendly. No problem carrying on plane. Wheels are high quality and handles stairs & rough terrain. Great transport for on the go without breaking your back with a backpack or shoulder style. Incredible quality for the $$$.

Comments about Tamrac 5551 SpeedRoller 1 Case:
This is a really nice case but the laptop compartment needs more room. I have a laptop, (15" screen), and made the mistake of not paying close enough attention to the dimensions; I was barely able to get it zippered into the compartment. This would work very well with a smaller laptop.
