Tested few different options, including different materials - this one is perfect. If you have a telephoto lens this is a must have, and not only if you are a wildlife fan:)

The fit of the Lens Coat on my lens is great and works as it should. I was also pleased that with the Lens Coat and Hood o it still fits in the Canon original hard case.

provides protection against bumps and is easy to fit. The realtree look is great.
The plastic window to access lens settings is a bit fiddly but you can cut this out if preferred.

Comments about LensCoat Lens Cover for Canon 300mm f/2.8L IS Lens - Realtree Max4 HD:
Well I thogh this would be better value for the money. Actually I had similar coating for EF 300 f/4L which was made from neopren and camouflage textile by my girlfriend. The cost of this was about 1/5 of this (including dinner in nice restaurant as an reward for the maker :-)).
The coat on the lens hood will make it difficult for the original lens cap to be settled on the lens. You have to move the coat a little backward or you would damage it in time by using the cap.
Another element is covering AF stop buttons, so if you dont remember their exact position it will be very difficuld to use. The worst part is the plastic window covering the lens controls. I have to cut it out because the buttons are almost useless with this plastic on them (definitely it slows changing controls several times).
Well it also has its advantages - it's very nice and the lens is less noticable.
