I have 2x Turbo 3 and I got them without straps. I cannot imagine using my TD5-R flashes on the Turbo's with out a strap. Most of the time I have them on light stands, but I also have them on my shoulder when I need too, feels good and seems solid (I got them 2 weeks ago).

If you are buying the Quantum battery, buy this strap. Particularly useful for women photographers who don't necessarily have a belt to use the belt clip with. Highly recommended.
