The Macally FMCup Automobile Full Channel FM Transmitter with iPod Charger is a convenient way to transmit your music collection over the radio. The FMCup will play any device through its mini-jack in port, but it is customized for iPods. The built in iPod dock fits neatly into most cars cup holders, and charges the iPod while it plays. Additionally, the large back-lit LCD screen and conveniently located buttons, make the FMCup a breeze to use.

This is the 3rd transmitter I have gotten since I got the latest edition iPod Nano. Much better than Belkin or Griffin brands. I am not sure if it's the iPod or transmitter, but they don't make them like they use to. The bleed over comes and goes, which I NEVER had any issue with my old FMCup / 3rd gen. iPod. Cannot wait until I get a car that has the plug-in.

Works great with volume maxed out. DOES NOT CHARGE MY IPOD.
The ipod keeps popping up a message that it will not charge from this device.
One car seems to generate much more static than the other - probably because the transmitter is plugged in to a rear cigaret lighter rather than the fron one.
Over all - it does work and I enjoy listening to my ipod on the way to work as much as I enjoy listening to it at work.

If you have a permanent cupholder this device works very well. However, if you use a thick case around your iPhone (like an Otterbox), you will have to remove the case every time you want use it. A thin case is okay. The transmitter works a little better than a Belkin.

I bought this for my son for Christmas. I had originally bought another brand and after buying it, decided to see what others had to say about it. The reviews weren't very good but while doing my research on that one, I noticed that the FM Cup Automobile Full Channel Transmitter with iPod Charger by Mccally was getting great reviews. I decided to return the one I had previously purchased and get this one. I sure am glad I did. My son loves it and it's easy to use. We've only had it a few days but so far, so good!
