The Schneider 28mm f/2.8 PC-Super-Angulon is a high-quality wide-angle lens with "Perspective Control" for 35mm SLR cameras. Its large image-circle diameter and innovative mechanical design allow the optical axis to be displaced 11mm horizontally and vertically and 9.5mm diagonally.

This lens opens up new realms of impressive results for great SLR systems that lacked a shift lens of their own manufacture, and does so with legendary Schneider optics.

This version does not come with a lens mount. Optional mounts are available for all popular 35mm camera systems. By simply fitting different lens mounts on the lens, it can be adapted for different camera systems.

Note! The front design of this lens will only allow use of B+W brand "wide-angle" filters or lens hoods.

The 12-element design yields exceptional optical quality even with full displacement, achieved by a Floating Element System that ensures high quality over the complete focusing range -- up to 11 inches.
Detented click-stops on the lens every 45° of rotation.
In order to avoid disturbing reflections and flare, the PC-Super-Angulon has a multi-layer antireflective coating.
The lens has a preset iris with an iris closing lever: therefore, picture composition can be done at full aperture. Prior to releasing the shutter, select the preset f/stop with the iris lever.
