The Pentax LL-80 AF Divided Matte Focusing Screen is an interchangeable focusing screen compatible with the Pentax K10D SLR Digital camera. This matte screen is similar to the LF-80 Standard Matte screen but also features division lines that correspond to the rule of thirds and marks to center your subject. This focusing screen is most useful when shooting portrait and landscape photography.

The only difference between this product and the original is a set of extra lines etched into the frame that divide the view into thirds. I use it to align horizontal and vertical features of a composition. "Square them up" so to speak. I still have difficulty bring specific features into sharp focus, however, but this may be more due to astigmatism than any short coming of the equipment.

I do a lot of landscape Photos and find myself frequently having to straighten the horizon. Not any more! The gridded screen ensures my horizons are horizontal. Install was easy with the tool and instructions provided. No complaints. This product is first rate. Thanks Pentax!

I bought this divided screen to replace the original one that came with my Pentax K20D and that got scratched. Unlike the original, the divisions in this screen are a great help is composing the scene and ensuring that the camera is level.
