This product is functional in that it keeps your freeXwire transmitter attached to the undercarriage of the camera while the QTTL adapter is in the hot-shoe. Unfortunately, this set-up is just "OK" when actually shooting. I really don't like to have a radio-transmitter in my face as I compose and shoot. But worse once you finish you can't set the camera down since your FreeXWire is securely attached to the bottom of the camera! For using a QTTL adapter with FreeXwire, I don't think this is one of the best thought out products in the Quantum line.
