The Speedotron Explorer 1500 is a kit combining many of the best elements of the Speedotron Black Line of strobe products. It is a cost-effective solution to gas-powered generators, where AC power for strobes is not available.
The Explorer provides up to 225 full power flashes to a single 103 Black Line Series flash head with color-corrected flashtube, that number will be significantly lower when using both heads included in this kit. Its battery has an integral charger that operates with any AC current from 85-265 AC Volts. It has 2 head outlets, and power may be divided asymmetrically - 1000 and 500 watt/seconds. It will power a modeling light up to 10 seconds at a time, powering off automatically, to conserve battery power (150 watts maximum recommended). Recycle time is 3.5 seconds @ full power.
Kit includes 1500 pack with battery, two 103/CC heads, air-case, two stands and two umbrellas.
