The Speedotron Explorer 1500 Power Supply is part of the Speedotron Black Line of strobe products. It is a cost-effective solution to gas-powered generators, where AC power for strobes is not available.

The Explorer provides up to 225 full power flashes to a single Black Line Series flash head (available separately). Its battery has an integral charger that operates with any AC current from 85-265 AC Volts. It has 2 head outlets, and power may be divided asymmetrically - 1000 and 500 watt/seconds. It will power your heads' modeling lights up to 10 seconds at a time, powering off automatically, to conserve battery power (150 watts maximum recommended). Recycle time is 3.5 seconds @ full power.

This Lamphead is ideal for those on a budget or those photographers who will not be putting much power through their flashtubes. The convection cooling (rather than fan cooling) makes this flash head less expensive, but more likely to over-heat if repeatedly flashed for prolonged shoots.

This head would be ideal for the still life photographer working in a tight space at a slow (one or two shots per minute)pace. The color corrected flashtube warms the hue of the light output by 300°. A power supply for this flash head is required.

The 4 Head Air Case is a top loading air shippable case that holds a complete lighting kit, such as: 2 large Speedotron heads, 3 light stands, 2 umbrellas, cables, reflectors and accessories.
Features two movable dividers 12 in high. Constructed of lightweight air channel plastic laminated on high impact resistant closed cell foam. This rigid shock proof box is covered with a shell of Protek nylon - a water repellent, puncture resistant, ballistic fabric.
Premium materials and quality workmanship are employed. A cushioned leather handgrip lessens hand fatigue with heavy loads. Foam padding is used with cross-linked, closed cell fabric.

This is a light stand that extends to a height of 8.5 feet. It will support a light or medium-size light fixture with softbox or umbrella.

The Speedotron/Photek 54" Umbrella with Removable Black Backing, enables it to be used as a makeshift softbox, when mounted on your Speedotron flash head or monolight.

This 54" size is perfect for a 3 - 4 person head-to-waist shot, or 4 x 6' product setup. It will illuminate ~16 sq ft.
