I use this Billingham bag when i don't want to have too much gear on me.
This Bag is very well made. It will certainly hold a long time. I also like the look of it.
You can throw a lot of gear in this bag, but dont forget you have to wear it on your shoulder.
If you want to wear the bag on the other shoulder (not the shoulder where the bag hangs), the bag do not fall right.
Great Bag for not too heavy gear.

I love the quality of the bag. I will use it on days when I go out to photograph with no real plan in mind. It is a very comfortable on your shoulder.

The 335 is very well made, roomy and, although fairly heavy, great to carry on your shoulder. It easily accommodates a full size DSLR with a mid size zoom attached, 2 other large lenses plus a speedlite, remote etc. etc. You can even carry a laptop or tablet as well. It's idea to use as a cabin luggage bag as you can easily fit your magazines, books, mobile and any thing else you might require on the plane.

You may however also want to look at their 307 model before buying. My one criticism (hence only 4 stars) is that to access the main compartment the carry handle grip (at the top), the two very stiff catches on the front (I'm sure they will loosen up over time), the main zipper all have to be undone and then you have tuck in the zipped sides protect your gear from being scratched as you remove it. All very time consuming which could mean you miss that spontaneous shot.

Finally! I have a bag that holds everything I need! This bag easily holds the body, a 50mm lens, a 35 mm lens, 60mm lens, nikon sb900 flash. Room left over for netbook or ipad. Good plane carry-on bag; fits under the seat in front of me. I've carried it on several trips already. Fantastic bag.

This bag has the advantage of not looking too much like a camera bag, but looks good just the same. It will carry about as much as I can physically manage in an over the shoulder bag. In my case, a 7D, and 3 or 4 lenses, flash, filters etc. It is quite deep, so it can take a 70-200 2.8 on end, and can take two smaller lenses stacked on top of each other (with protection between!) for transport. The front pockets are big, and each could take another full size flash.

The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that the bag does not come with enough partitions for proper set up. The two included partitions are stitched into box shapes and the smaller of them will not hold any normal to big diameter lenses, especially if a hood is attached in reverse. I solved this problem by using partitions from older bags, and now have things set up very well for transport of gear, or use in the field.

All in all a very nice bag, and I expect to be using this for many years.

Tons of storage space and well padded. The construction is very strong. Might be a little big for a beginner/casual photographer though...simply because it's well sized and has so many well protected compartments. If you know you going to get more expensive equipments in the future, get this bag.

I am a college student and I am taking photography class. Before getting this bag,I just put my cameras on my backpack. So I got a lot of scratches and usually, fall down my bag. However, I do not do that way any more.
It is really easy to keep cameras as well as design also really good.
If I say to weakness...hmm.. when you hod shoulder, it's gonna be hurt a little bit, when you fill cameras up your bag.

Besides, you can keep your laptop or college notes or text books!

Was a bit nervous before receiving this bag as I couldnt find any pic on net for this Sage colour bag.. From my previous experience the real thing always looks different to the pic. However as soon as I opened the box I realized for one time the pic represents the real colour.. Love the quality, design and most importantly the colour.. Strongly recommend it to you. I recently purchased Nikon's new 14-24mm f/2.8 and 24-70mm f/2.8 to replace several DX and non-DX lenses that I use with my Nikon D2x. I had been using the Billingham 225, but found that I couldn't carry the D2x (with lens attached) and the spare lens at the same time - there simply isn't enough room in the main compartment of the 225.

I love (present tense as I still have it) my 225 and couldn't picture myself carrying another bag. I have had the 225 for over a year. I did some research and decided I would take the plunge and upgrade to the Billingham 335 - according to the specs it seemed as if it would be large enough.

I knew I wanted the bag in the Sage color and I knew I wanted it in canvas. Unfortunately, the Sage only comes in the FibreNyte material. My preference for color was stronger than my preference for material so I bought the bag with that one reservation.

Once I received the bag that reservation vanished. The FibreNyte material has a great feel and appearance. Best of all it definitely seems lighter than the canvas 225 and the (apparent?) reduced weight was an unanticipated bonus.

The bag is much larger inside than I thought it was going to be, but the external appearance doesn't feel all that large so it doesn't look like you are carrying a huge bag. In the main compartment there is plenty of room for the the D2x (with tripod L-bracket and 24-70 attached) and the 14-24 (in its CL-M3 case).

I do wish the bag had shipped with a larger SuperFlex, but I'm not going to list that as a con. Neither of the two included SuperFlex would hold the 14-24 f/2.8.

All of the pockets are deep and wide. I am able to carry two spare camera batteries, flash, spare flash batteries, a dome-style flash diffuser, remote release, filters, a pano head and rail, a small GPS receiver, and pencil & paper.

For a little extra room I did add two Delta Pockets. I was able to get all of the above items in the bag without the Delta Pockets. However, the Delta Pockets are a nice place to store your cell phone, sunglasses, keys, and other stuff. Plus it gives me a bit of room to carry an extra item or two.

The leather and stitching is beautiful. Everything was just as it was supposed to be. I have had the bag for ~1 month and I don't have any immediate cons to mention.

If you are trying to decide between the 225 and the 335 then I would suggest the 335 if you think you'll grow at all (or upgrade to "pro" lenses from non-pro lenses). I admit that I do wish I had purchased the 335 at the very beginning. It works out - I put my wife's equipment in the 225.
