The Bowens Unilite 2 Light Kit with Cocoon contains two Unilites, each fitted with one 100 Watt 5400°K compact fluorescent lamp. Because they run at low temperatures, they are safe to use, even when shooting subjects that are easily affected by heat such as food, flowers and people.
The Cocoon 70 is a semi-rigid light tent that will give soft reflection-free lighting for every subject. The Cocoon is made from four translucent diffuser panels that simply zip together. It features three shooting holes so subjects can be shot from many different positions. The Cocoon completely removes unsightly highlights and distracting reflections.
- Each fixture provides 81 footcandles, from a distance of 3.3'(1m) with the softbox diffuser.

The Cocoon 70 lighting tent is suitable for objects up to For objects up to 9 x 11.8" (23 x 30cm).
A floor stand is supplied to make use of the kit easier; the stand also allows lighting your subjects from underneath the Cocoon.

Comments about Bowens Unilite 2 Light Kit with Cocoon (120V):
It is mostly easy to set up, but the velcro straps that have to be stretched over the small metal rods is very hard to do. It may get easier as it is used. Otherwise, it is a great light weight travel light set, and you can't beat the price. The cocoon needs some custom enhancement to cover seems inside, and the stand for it does not work out to be stable. Use on tabletop.
