Comments about Tenba LL400 II Long Lens Case:
I'm taking this bag with me first to India, then to Morocco. It's well padded and has ample room for small accessories and a camera body. Some of the sales promo photos show the camera mounted to a long lens for travel, but hopefully no one would be stupid enough to leave a camera body mounted to a long lens and not expect terrible results.
The one addition that I would make to this bag are two removable backpack- style straps. That way you wouldn't have to sling it over one shoulder like a bike messenger style bag.
This is a great bag for transport, but I don't believe any soft bag is good for cargo. I will use this bag to take my 400mm f/2.8 as my on-board bag for air travel.
I won't say that this is uncomfortable to carry, because any 400mm f 2.8 is uncomfortable to carry- it would be fair to the manufacturer!

Comments about Tenba LL400 II Long Lens Case:
This is a well built item for sure and it works very well for me. The only thing I would like to see changed is for the front of the case to have zippered openings. Still I'll give it five stars.

Comments about Tenba LL400 II Long Lens Case:
This case is a perfect fit for the Nikon 400mm 2.8. A pro camera body, teleconverter, and lens fits well with the lens hood reversed. Padding is good, and the handle is solid to carry over short distances. The extra storage is nice to have.
Some improvements that could be made -
Only the top flap opens. It would be nice if part of the front could open for more accessibility like the Lowepro.
Nice padded shoulder straps for both shoulders would be nice to allow carrying longer distances more comfortably.
All in all, I'm happy with the case for what I need it for.

Comments about Tenba LL400 II Long Lens Case:
I feel like I just went through the three little bears story trying to find a bag that worked with my D3 and 400 2.8 (Nikon). One company suggested that I had a prototype lens because the fit was 2 inches short of being just right (baby bed). the too large was just sloppy. the Tenba fit perfectly with the monopod foot attached. We do primarily sports photography and transportation of an exposed lens and camera just isn't safe enough. the inner bag on the top flap is a perfect fit for one of the largest rain covers on the market. Padding on this bag seems substantial and in all the right places. Bottom line, it works ~ it fits ~ it looks and functions the way a professional needs their equipment to.

Comments about Tenba LL400 II Long Lens Case:
Pretty much everything you'd expect in this product. Strong, well made, extra pockets, easily fits my Nikon 400mm f/2.8G including both hoods with plenty of room for an attached camera (and then some). It would be nice if Tenba included a backpack type strap as an optional method of carry given the size and weight involved.
