The Panasonic PT-AE1000U is a native high-definition home theater projector that produces stunning, film-like images with a dramatic 11000:1 contrast ratio. The projector is equipped with advanced digital picture-enhancing features allowing you to enjoy "Hollywood picture quality" in the comfort of your own home.
The projector offers a host of image optimizing features including a Dynamic Iris optical system. The Dynamic Iris helps provide the deeper, richer blacks you need for true-to-life images. This system works by analyzing histograms to determine the brightness level of each image, then adjusting the lamp power, iris and gamma curve accordingly to create the ideal image.
The PT-AE1000U is equipped with full-HD LCD panels. With their native 1,920 x 1,080 resolution, these panels are ideal for reproducing beautiful full-HD images that are remarkably smooth and film-like.

- Advanced color correction technology controls both contrast and brightness to provide faithful reproduction of subtle hues; With Cinema Color Management technology, correction of individual colors becomes possible without affecting the colors in the surrounding parts of the picture
- Waveform Monitor
- The PT-AE1000U gives home consumers a projector with the kind of waveform monitor used in equipment for professionals. This function displays waveforms to show how the projector has adjusted the images of the input signals sent from the source device. In cases where the output level of the source device fluctuates, you can view the waveform on the screen and adjust the image brightness and contrast to match standard levels.
