The SP6II boasts an impressive 6.5" aluminum (cone) woofer, 1" titanium-laminate (pivoting) tweeter and 80W of power.
The JBL SP6II offers multiple features such as a space-saving flush-mount design, a unique swivel-mount tweeter and a rubber surround aluminum woofer. The SP6II can reproduce a full range of audio frequencies to complement your audio selections. In addition, the JBL SP6II can be painted to match any decor.

- With a frequency response of 38Hz - 20kHz, the SP6II can reproduce a full sound range from deep bass tones to ultra-high frequencies.
- Swivel-Mount Tweeter
- The SP6II has the ability direct the high frequencies toward your listening position by incorporating a unique swivel-mount tweeter with Elliptical Oblate Spheroidal (EOS) waveguides.
- Flexibility and Placement
- With its space-saving design of only 3-7/8" mounting depth and weighing only 5 lbs, the SP6II offers you maximum flexibility of being able to install it anywhere.
- Paintable Frame and Grille
- Both the frame and grille can be painted to blend into the existing environment.
- Ease of Installation
- Locate your speaker location, cut the drywall, connect the speaker wires and mount the SP6II, it's that simple. The SP6II includes a cutting template and integrated dog-ear brackets for retrofit applications. And with rough-in frames available for new construction, installation is just as easy.

Some of the best in-wall speakers out there for the price. Better overall sound than the Polk and Bose in-wall's. I have the SP8IIs also and they are equally as good. The paintable covers make them virtually invisable in with the aesthetics of the room. I would definitely buy them again.

Great speakers being used as in walls in a larger living room. Room is about 20X20 and there are no issues with power or sound distribution. Neat feature with the aimable tweeter. Easy installation and attractive finished look. Kind of a no-brainer with a name like JBL. My fear was that in-wall speakers would not be sufficient, or would cause unwanted in wall sound, but definitely not the case, they sound great.
