The SP8CII boasts an impressive 8" aluminum (cone) woofer, 1" titanium-laminate (pivoting) tweeter and 100W of power.
The JBL SP8CII offers multiple features such as a space-saving flush-mount design, a unique swivel-mount tweeter and a rubber surround aluminum woofer. The SP8CII can reproduce a full range of audio frequencies to complement your audio selections. In addition, the JBL SP8CII can be painted to match any decor.

- With a frequency response of 32Hz - 20kHz, the SP8CII can reproduce a full sound range from deep bass tones to ultra-high frequencies.
- Swivel-Mount Tweeter
- The SP8CII has the ability direct the high frequencies toward your listening position by incorporating a unique swivel-mount tweeter with Elliptical Oblate Spheroidal (EOS) waveguides.
- Flexibility and Placement
- With its space-saving design of only 4-1/4" mounting depth and weighing only 5.6 lbs, the SP8CII offers you maximum flexibility of being able to install it anywhere.
- Paintable Frame and Grille
- Both the frame and grille can be painted to blend into the existing environment.
- Ease of Installation
- Locate your speaker location, cut the drywall, connect the speaker wires and mount the SP8CII, it's that simple. The SP8CII includes a cutting template and integrated dog-ear brackets for retrofit applications. And with rough-in frames available for new construction, installation is just as easy.

These speakers were easy to install and produced nice clear sound. I was very impressed and I get great comments on how my media room sounds just like a movie theater. I only wish they would sell them as singles as well. Had a 7.1 system, I now have one speaker sitting by itself in a box.

I installed these in the ceiling as part of a 5.1 surrond sound system,, WOW,, with these I almost don't need the Sub-Woofer.The sound is awsome.And being able to point the tweeter towards the center is a plus,, I would recomend these speakers any time.
