The SureFire FM13 Infrared Filter is a flip-up infrared filter that is dedicated to flashlights with a 1.62" bezel.
This clamp-on infrared filter cancels out the visible non-infrared portion of the light beam generated by your flashlight. The resulting smooth and perfectly-focused IR beam is visible with NVDs and infrared-capable video cameras.
Thumb pressure on the locking tab releases the cover, and a spring mechanism keeps the open cover flat against the flashlight's housing. A locking lever keeps the entire unit securely attached to the flashlight.
Note! For military or law enforcement infrared applications, the SureFire M1 IR Illuminator is recommended as its dedicated infrared design may be more appropriate for mission-critical tasking
