The SureFire FM33 Infrared Filter is a flip-up infrared filter that is dedicated to flashlights with a 1.25" bezel.
This clamp-on infrared filter cancels out the visible non-infrared portion of the light beam generated by your flashlight. The resulting smooth and perfectly-focused IR beam is visible with NVDs and infrared-capable video cameras.
Thumb pressure on the locking tab releases the cover, and a spring mechanism keeps the open cover flat against the flashlight's housing. A locking lever keeps the entire unit securely attached to the flashlight.
Note: For military or law enforcement infrared applications, the SureFire M1 IR Illuminator is recommended as its dedicated infrared design may be more appropriate for mission-critical tasking
