The SureFire MR07 Mounting Rail attaches to any standard rail-less 1911-type pistol with a GI-style trigger guard. The MR07 provides the Picatinny style rail that is necessary to mount a SureFire X200 series WeaponLight.
The MR07 allows the X200 to slide on and off your pistol quickly and easily. This low-profile lightweight mount is slim enough to permit the pistol with the WeaponLight mounted to fit into soft GI-type holsters, however it may not fit into custom-molded type holsters.
The MR07 attaches to your pistol via a modified slide stop and pin assembly which is machined from pre-hardened chrome-molybdenum steel. The pin fit is held to match-grade tolerances. The trigger guard locking wedge is crafted from energy absorbent polyurethane, to avoid metal-to-metal contact. The wedge can be tightened with a cartridge rim, so no hex wrench is needed. A spacer shim is provided to accommodate manufacturing variations in the trigger guard thickness (Colt Gold Cup). An anti-chafing pad is configured into the assembly to prevent scoring of the X200's dust cover.
