I purchased the 2GB RAM kit as an upgrade for my Dell Inspiron 6000. The entire installation process took less than 5 minutes. The laptop immediately recognized the new RAM, and the RAM has functioned flawlessly ever since. My laptop originally had 512MB RAM, so the upgrade has made a tremendous difference. My laptop used to take close to 25 minutes to boot completely. Now, start-up takes a maximum of 2-3 minutes. I'm also able to run multiple programs (e.g. web browsing, audio/video streaming, word processing, statistical computing) without lags or crashes. I wish I'd done this upgrade much, much sooner.

I'm 70, and I installed these two in under 5 minutes! My early iMac was really chugging along so slow I could run either Entourage or Safari, but not both at the same time. It's available memory was worse than mine! So I googled around to see what was out there for my original Intel iMac, and found this upgrade kit on B&H. Even Apple carried none for this model.
Ya Hooey! My apps are all up and running at the same time beautifully and, oh, so FAST. So simple to install (found instructions on Apple site). I don't have to buy a new desktop yet, and can spend my $ on a lovely iPad. Thank you B&H - a pleasure doing business as usual.
I'd love to upgrade my own memory slots - how about it, B&H???

I was looking to purchase a new computer. However, after reading reviews about RAM I realized that many people had had the same problem with their computer as I had with mine, and extra RAM was the solution.
My 4-1/2 year old computer had 1/2GB RAM and with age and many new applications it got very sluggish. I upgraded to 2GB and now it's running much more like I need it to.
In the end we spent around $34 instead of buying a new computer and we're very happy with our decision.

I was not ready to replace our Dell D820 but needed a performance boost. I went from 2x512mb to 2x1gb. I found some good online instructions to locate both memory slots and it took about 40 minutes (much quicker to do it again). Lightroom 3.0 had been struggling and now it is running much smoother. The on-line memory configuration was a huge help.

My Sony Vaio is now noticably faster in the way pages load up and programs start up and close. I was worried about compatability and if I would have problems installing the SODIMM. Extremely awesome, for those who need little to know.
For those who do know, I bought these a bit ago in need of an upgrade on hold for 3 years. I searched shortly on the internet, until I found these. This isn't a bad thing, as when compared to other prices, this was noticeably cheaper than many other.
Worked perfectly with my late 2006 low-end 17" iMac. The only thing I worried about was grounding myself, which was quite simple to accomplish.
