Novoflex EOS/CO Lens Mount Adapter - Universal Screw Mount (Pentax M42) Lens to Canon EOS Body
The Novoflex EOS/CO Lens Mount Adapter allows for a lens with Universal Screw Mount (Pentax M42) to be mounted unto a Canon EOS type camera.
Although the lens will fit physically, automatic diaphragm (AE metering), or any other functions are not retained using this adapter. In this case you will need to meter in "stop-down mode" since the lens does not have the ability to have its aperture controlled by the camera body.

This adaptor fits to the Pentax lens and the Canon EOS body perfectly well except that the body ends up at 30 degrees to the lens (a 400mm with tripod mount). I'm told this is too hard to get right not knowing when the thread cutter starts or something like that. I had a previous adaptor fot this lens to a Canon "A" series body, and it aligned just fine!

Let me start by saying that to get a good photo, its thelens, the lens and the lens which makes the difference. All my life I have worked with M42 screw type Carl Zeiss andPentacon lenses with my Praktica film camera. When Igraduated to digital SLR world by purchasing a Canon XTi, Idid not want to spend thousands of dollars buying additionalCanon 50mm L lenses . I am a manual focus guy and I relyon my eyes for exposure settings. Then I chanced to see this Novoflex EOS/CO Lens MountAdapter on b&h video.com which is BTW the best photo videoshop on the Internet, the only shop which is knowledgeable and reliable. I ordered one and I am not disappointed by thefit and quality of this adapter. Made in Germany still hassome meaning and simply stands for mechanical engineeringaccuracy and reliability. Please do not go for cheapadapters. These cheap adapters can forever spoil your EOS body.I have ever since taken 500+ shots using all Pentacon 50mm,29mm, Zeiss 50mm, 35mm, Beroflex 70-300mm. I am overjoyedwith the quality.These East German lenses are stalwarts and have no purplefringing problems so common with even high priced lenses.My recommendation to all my photographer fraternity would beto buy a good Canon EOS digital body and invest in thisadapter and but used M42 pentacon or Zeiss lenses.I bought all my lenses from this eBay store calledGold-Camera in Czech Republic.
