Comments about Seal /Bienfang Release Paper - 26"x5-yds, Double Coated:
Although it is difficult, when working alone, to cut a section of release paper off the small tube the product is rolled around, once you get it flattened and fold in half, this product makes an excellent pocket for inserting photos tacked to mount board, before slipping in a heat press for bonding. A small strip used between the tacking iron and the mount tissue makes tacking mount tissur to the print and then the print to the mount board clenn and easy.

I use this to protect the surface of encaustic paintings I store in small square boxes. I purchased it because it claimed to be a non-stick surface. For the most part this is true but when left for periods of time on the surface of these wax paintings, even without pressure, the release paper will stick. When pulled off of the wax surface however there does not seem to be any damage. Overall I believe it achieves it's purpose.

I cut a piece twice the size of my dry mount press surface, and folded it in half to make a folder. I will get MANY uses of this one piece. There's almost no need for a large roll for personal usage.
