If you buy the Softie case case and the Boom tube, this is a basic addition that will make your life that much easier. We just took this on a remote shoot in the woods and we had to hike to get the location alongside a steep cliff. Keeping all the gear fitting tightly together made my crew (not to mention myself) feel safer about the trip.
