The K5600 Joker-Bug 400 / 800 2 Light HMI Kit is a powerful lighting tool. Each fixture includes its own multi-voltage AC power supply, 25' extension cable, a set of 4 lenses, a beaker (a frosted tube), a beamer (focusing device), 4 leaf barndoors, HMI bulb, and wheeled hard shell kit case. Also included, are a 16x22" softbox with adapter ring and removable front diffusion screen. All that's left for you to provide are light stands, or grip for mounting the fixtures, a battery belt and something that you wish to light in bright, 5600° light.
The Joker-Bug 400 output is comparable to a 1500/2000W quartz fixture, but with a power draw of only 5.5 Amps. It's powerful enough to make a difference in daylight interiors even through diffusion materials and light banks.
After the enormous popularity of the Joker-Bug 200 and 400, the creation of the Joker-Bug 800 seemed logical. It provides twice the output of the 400. The Joker-Bug 800 is comparable to a 3200/4000W quartz fixture but with a power draw of only 12.5 Amps.

- The included Power Supplies are electronic, square wave, flicker free. AC input is 90-265 Volts, 50/60Hz. They are convection cooled.

The Joker-Bug 800 fixture throws a beam of light of 5235 footcandles 1.5 feet in diameter from 20 feet, with the included spot lens.
It throws a beam of 164 footcandles 16' in diameter (44° spread from origin) with its Super Wide lens mounted. The other lenses in the kit offer other variations of intensity and beam spread.

The Joker-Bug 400 fixture throws a beam of light of 3860 footcandles 1' in diameter from 20 feet, with no lens mounted.
It throws a beam of 47 footcandles 22' in diameter (44° spread from origin) with its Super Wide lens mounted. The other lenses in the kit offer other variations of intensity and beam spread.
- Full Light Control

The Super Wide, Wide, Medium Flood, and Frosted Fresnel lenses, the Beakers, and 4 Leaf Barndoor Sets allow ample control over the shape, spread, and intensity of the light emitted from each fixture.
Add an optional 3200° filter, and scrims for even more control.
- Beamers and Softbox
- The Beamers are detachable reflectors that intensify the light beam for 1-on-1 interviews. Remove the Beamer and mount the 16x22" softbox, which offers more output of light with no hot spots. The front of the softbox is removable, and 3 diffusion screens with different densities are provided.
- Three Wheeled Kit Cases
- The wheeled hard kit cases are reinforced heavy duty, foam-lined, with ample room for all components. The lenses have their own cases.
