Comments about Crumpler School Hymn Laptop Bag (Medium) - for Apple 15" Notebook Computers (Black with Grey Accent):
I bought this sleeve in order to be able to take my pre-unibody 15" macbook pro with me when I commute to work on bike. I pack macbook in this sleeve, put it in the pannier, and get going.
Sleeve provides some amount of protection against gentle knocks, and would be great in somebody's backpack to protect macbook from book's sharp corners, pencils etc.
Beware: it is much thicker than typical 'elegant' sleeve, and takes a lot of room - but I also feel that this allows it to provide better protection than most sleeves.
It is a bit too weak for protecting macbook in case of a bike fall, its 'hard' sides feel like there is a sheet of thin plastic in there, covered by some foam.
Now I wish I got 'brain cell' sleeve instead, but this one will have to do.
Ah, and fit... vertical is nice, but not very snug, depth is same, good but not snug, and it is about 3/8 to 1/2 inches too wide. Does not seem to cause much problem in use.
