I returned this item because the clarity was lacking when used with a DVD player. Perhaps an IPod would have worked better, but I was expecting something more spectacular.

THE HEAD GEAR WAS COMFOTABLE; THE EAR PIECES ARE JUST LIKE ANY YOU WOULD GET WITH i-POD OR CD PLAYER. THE LUMENS OR BRIGHTNESS OF THE IMAGE IS STRONG EVEN IN WELL LIT ROOMS. THE ONLY HITCH IS ON A DVD MOVIE I EXSPERIENCED A VERY LIGHT SHADOW. BUT WITH GAMING MEDIA ITS NOT APARENT. SO THUMBS UP HERE FOR THE MONEY. WHERE ELSE WOULD YOUE GET SIMULATOR GLASSES FOR UNDER $300? RIGHT HERE ATB&H... GREAT PRODUCT!

I got these Big screen simulator glasses for my wife to use with her iPod Christmas 2006. They are fantastic when your waiting in a doctor's office, you choose the video. If your traveling on a long trip(and not driving of course) it makes the journey so much shorter, slow time at work, traffic jam? We use them and they work great.
