I've used this reflector holder a few times already and it seems to be a pretty good deal. Probably not "use everyday without fail for years" quality, but definitely does the job. The plastic knobs may not be the strongest, but they do seem to be strong enough for general use and I've certainly been able to tighten down the ball joint and the arm extended without any problems. The clips are good, but could open up a little wider to accommodate the reflector I have, but it just takes a little bit of wiggling to get it in place. Overall, a reasonably priced holder that is light and easy to carry along with my light stands.

I really like most of the design and build quality of this bracket except for the all important end clamps. The pole adjusts easily and it's pretty rigid and lightweight however, the clamps are designed poorly. I wish the clamps were larger with swivel ends and had a large wing nut so I could crank them down firmly. I've pretty much given up on trying to use this bracket outdoors. Even the lightest breeze will blow the reflector right out of the clamps. I have had fairly good results holding reflectors or diffusors overhead in studio. I can only recommend this for indoor only.

Comments about Westcott Reflector Holder:
I bought this for my 5in1 and it doesn't hold it because it's too thick. It works well for my single silver reflector though. Sturdy!

Comments about Westcott Reflector Holder:
The holder functions well for what its designed for. The telescopic rod is metal and everything else is plastic. That makes it light weight but the handle on the ball joint can be a little more robust in my opinion.

Comments about Westcott Reflector Holder:
I've used this piece 3 times after I received it last week. Glad I got it. Also purchased the 32 inch 5-in-1 reflector. It does hold it up with no problems.
Don't over tighten the section bolts and everything should be fine. Probably should use a sand bag on the stand if you are outside.

Comments about Westcott Reflector Holder:
The Reflector arm is easy to attach to the light stand and easy to adjust. The spring loaded clamps/clips at each end that hold the reflector are very small and flimsy. The clamps do not hold the reflector very securely and the reflector many times fall out if it is bumped when trying to move or adjust it.

Great reflector holder. Ball joint allows movement in all directions.
