Hensel Studiotechnik has shrunk the size of the original Porty head and now offers the EH Pro Mini 1200 P Flash Head. It is super compact and much easier to transport. The included detachable 16' (5 m) head cable (red collar) may be replaced with an optional 22' (7 m) or 33' (10 m) cable.
The weight has dropped dramatically as well -- it's a full 20 oz (0.6 kg) lighter than the previous EH Pro 1200 head, but it retains full compatibility with all Hensel Portys, studio power packs, and Hensel accessories.
The flash tube for this head is now the 9450135. Glass domes are available with different coatings to adjust color temperature. These glass domes are also available in either clear or frosted versions for different light qualities.

Comments about Hensel EH Pro Mini 1200 P Porty Flash Head:
I own a few light heads for my portys (CH1200, and EHT1200's), and the Pro Mini 1200 is easily the best flash head of them all. Functionality wise it works just like the older units, but the size of the unit makes it much easier to carry around. The removable power cable is a God send when you want to store it; the older units I have are a pain in this regard. The handle on the back of the unit is durable; I've carried it while it was attached to a light stand by the handle and it didn't complain or flex once. The spring-loaded quick release lever for softbox attachments is fluid and engages a little more positively than the older units I own as well.
The construction is fairly weather resistant too. They're not water proof, but they can take some spray without complaining. I did a shoot yesterday at the beach and my lights got a little wet from a wave that crashed on the shoreline. The head didn't complain one bit.
My only "gripe" with the unit is that the modeling lamp will not work if you attach it to an AC powered pack like the Pro Mini 1200AS. It's a minor gripe since it was meant to be used on a Porty though.
Overall, if you're buying a new porty or have an older one you need to add a light head to, it's hard to go wrong with the Mini 1200p.
