Used in a Pro9000 Mark 2. Clear prints, no clogging. They hold up well (do not dry out) if installed and left unused for longer periods of time (weeks). Granted these are not pigmented inks like those used in the Pro9500 which do dry out fast after installation under limited use.
Red and Green tend to be the least used colors in my experience (as well as from reading reviews elsewhere on the net), but as a multipack price these two colors ended up being free when compared to the total cost of buying each tank in the multipack individually.

My printer (Canon Pixma Pro 9000) like most other high quality printers has a tendency to use up a lot of expensive ink, in this case (Canon CLI-8 cartridges). After surfing the internet for a cheaper solution I purchased a generic brand for about half the price. Not long after using these generic cartridges I began to experience problems while printing. Sometimes there would be discrepancies in color or sometimes an individual cartridge would die on me altogether. Oh well. I tried. So at least for now Canon is the only reliable "High Quality" choice for picture prints. I do however use the generic ink for everyday tasks.
My reason for only three stars is due to the price only. I guess Canon will never give us a break here.

Comments about Canon CLI-8 8 Color Multipack:
I've found over the years that using original OEM inks for photo printing is a wise decision. The quality of the Canon ink contained in the CLI-8 8 color multi-pack is excellent. You can always save money on refilled or recycled cartridges, but at a significant cost of image quality. Image quality remains top-notch with the Canon refills. I put a lot of work into my photos, and expect the same from my printer. Lesser quality inks do not provide the same quality!

This is excellent ink for the Canon Pro9000 II. Everyone would always like ink to last longer but this makes fine prints and lasts as long as any such products.

Comments about Canon CLI-8 8 Color Multipack:
I use this ink with a Canon Pixma Pro9000 Mark II printer. I use the printer to print portfolio pages. The ink is very good quality when used with good paper so I have never experimented with lower cost inks but because of the price I have been tempted.
When I print I use very little red and green ink so if you are using the same printer you may want to hold off and order ink once you can determine your useage by color. If the is a 6 tank set without red and green (sometimes available for Canon i9900) then this might be a better deal. Buying the entire set of 8 is about the same price as purchasing 6 locally for me.
I find it bothersome that the tanks for the i9900 don't work on the Pro 9000 Mark II ... they seem similar.
One of the cartridges sprayed ink when I snapped off the cover ... this has never happened in 5 years with a i9900 cartridge.

I use the CLI-8 inks in my Pro 9000 Mark II printer. I have my own photography company. Although I order most prints through printing companies for clients, I do use my printer for client prints as well as personal prints. I have been very happy with the Canon inks and printer.

I use a Canon Pixma Pro 9000 Mk II to print all of my images and I love these cartridges. they give excellent colors and crisp clear prints. They dry very quickly and I have never had on smear. Top of the line stuff!! The only drawback is that they are small and run out fairly quickly.

I'm not ink expert, but this ink does the job for my printer and what I use it for...mostly flyers and advertisment for my business. I think it gets used up pretty fast though.

It's hard to judge these inks until you have seen a variety of prints, made on different paper, age over a period of time under a variety of environments. I have been disappointed with my BCI-6 inks on cotton. If left in sunlight, they fade very fast. Glass helps a lot. Coated paper holds better than cotton rag, but in sunlight they both fade fast. I don't know whether the CLI-8 is any different. I suspect that it's just a different delivery cartridge, using the same ink. Out of the box, the freshly printed CLI-8 pictures on cotton rage look just as they should. Time will tell...

I have a Canon Pro9000 Mark II printer and use the CLI-8 8 color Multipack by Canon for the printer. B&H has genuine Canon ink, not generic, not fake ink that could ruin your printer. The best part is that the price is the best on the internet. They ship fast and it is a great place to order your next ink supply for your Canon printer or other printer.

Canon OEM inks, while more expensive than 3rd party inks, wont screw up your printer head. I have traveled the 3rd party road and it cost me two print heads a year apart on another printer. They work like they should
