I bought these for my Pentax prime lenses. The slim size adds minimum size when packing my lenses in a lens case or bag, and the pro look is perfect on the classy Pentax prime lenses. Clip on action is strong but easy to release. Highly recommended.

I was looking for a snap-on lens cap for my Pentax DA Limited lenses which have gorgeously build metal lens cap, but not practical due to their screw-in design. There're many third-party 49mm lens cap choices available that I've tried, but I finally settle on B+W for all my Pentax Limited lenses (all of them share the same 49mm thread). This made-in-Japan B+W cap is really well-made, solid and has an expensive look/finish. The lens cap comes with exactly the same packaging as any B+W filter, which is excellent. It has no letters/brand name on the front (a great feature!), instead it has a really nice textured design which complements the rubber skin of most DSLR very nicely. The design of the front lens thread and lens hood of my Pentax DA 15mm & 35mm Limited lenses allows this B+W snap-on cap to work as it should with collapsed lens hood. So, the way I use it is: take off the cap, then extend the built-in hood. But if your lenses have fixed lens hood design, you should first consider how you'd like to use your lens cap. Because this B+W cap doesn't have 'center-pinch'-type of finger grip. If you don't use lens hood at all, of course there's no issue whatsoever. Highly recommended to consider.
