The B+W Snap-On Lens Cap #310 model has two spring-mounted claws at opposite sides which attach to the inside of the filter or lens threads. They work on any lens or front-threaded filter with the filter size that matches the size you see here (58mm in this case). If you have a filter on your lens which has no front threads, you would instead need a B+W #305 model cap.

I have a habit of losing my lens caps. I used to reorder them from Olympus but, alas, they became unavailable. While perusing the B&H website, I saw a substitute one listed. I ordered a couple and waited. When they arrived in the mail, I tried one to replace the one I lost and it fit perfectly. Now I have a spare in case this happens again. Thanks B&H for a great product. There is nothing bad about the cap. Once again you came through b=for me. Thanks

Snaps on easily and is cheaper than camera name brands. Works on Tiffen as well as on B + W 58mm filters.

When I asked for a generic lens cap at the store, this came up, and it turns out it's B+W and better priced than Nikon, etc. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality, sturdiness, etc. I'll probably just buy these from now on when I end up short on lens caps.
