The B+W Push-On Lens Cap #300 model is their 'standard' unit, and has a slightly convex front surface to prevent the inside of the cap from touching the glass of your lens when it is tucked away in a bag. The sides are their 'standard' depth, to fit on normal lens barrels or standard-style filters, and this particular unit has a 51mm inner diameter.
B+W also makes a 'shallow' sides model, the #305 model, to fit on slim filters, and a more common snap-on cap.
It isn't an exact science due to all the variables involved, but generally a push-on cap that is 2-3mm larger than the lens' filter size fits just right.

Fits Minolta 49mm lenses and filters perfectly. Stays on when you want it to, yet pops off no problem.

Comments about B+W #300 51mm Push-On Lens Cap:
I purchased a 37mm Push-On lens cap that was specified for my FujiFilm digital camera. The cap was too small. [...]The 51mm Push-On lens cap fits perfectly. I will definitely shop B&H in the future.

Comments about B+W #300 51mm Push-On Lens Cap:
I bought this as a replacement for the cap on my Rodenstock 150 Apo Sironar S lens. It fits perfectly and is about as good as any other slip-on cap. Which is to say, it will wear out in a few years, but it will probably get lost first!

Comments about B+W #300 51mm Push-On Lens Cap:
I wouldn't normally get excited about something as trivial as a lens cap, but this cap does exactly the things you want and not what you don't.
- it stays on when you want it to. It has just the right amount of grip to stay put.
- it comes off when you want it to. No fiddly buttons to push or things to squeeze. Just pull it off.
- it doesn't mess up your lens. This lens cap has a subtle arch so that it doesn't touch the lens, even when pushed. The arch seems to give it a little more strength too.
- it fits in your lens case. I shoot Pentax film cameras so I have beautful leather hard cases for my lenses. The lens caps with the squeezy buttons on the sides are too wide and the center pinch lens caps are too tall for the lenses to fit. These caps are perfect in both dimensions.
Comments about B+W #300 51mm Push-On Lens Cap:
Got it for my Canonet QL17. It's just a little too big as-is; a few layers of masking tape on the inside of the cap give it a snug fit. Beyond that, it's a black plastic cap, and works exactly as you'd expect it to.
