The B+W Push-On Lens Cap #300 model is their 'standard' unit, and has a slightly convex front surface to prevent the inside of the cap from touching the glass of your lens when it is tucked away in a bag. The sides are their 'standard' depth, to fit on normal lens barrels or standard-style filters, and this particular unit has a 57mm inner diameter.
B+W also makes a 'shallow' sides model, the #305 model, to fit on slim filters, and a more common snap-on cap.
It isn't an exact science due to all the variables involved, but generally a push-on cap that is 2-3mm larger than the lens' filter size fits just right.

Fits snugly over my 55mm Minolta lenses with Hoya filters. No tabs to press. Stays firmly in place yet pops off easily when you want it to.

After ordering three different sizes as advised by B&H staff, the only thing good about the cap was the ease of returning it. Sizes were grosely incorrect everytime.
Comments about B+W #300 57mm Push-On Lens Cap:
These are well made caps, but of thick material with little ridges inside. Thus, it is hard to know what size to order. My Leitz IUFOO hood for the 90/135mm lenses has a 57mm outside diameter. I ordered 57mm size which was too small.
The alternative Kalt caps require the exact size. I ordered the Kalt 58mm cap next and it's too big. I managed to make it fit by putting in some adhesive flocking paper inside the rim.
