This Epic Pro V3 mechanical housing is for the Sony DCR-PD150 and DCR-VX2100 camcorders. The housing is designed for use in or near water. The housing is recommended for snorkeling, surfing, boating, shallow diving, and other situations where your camera could come into contact with water.
The housing is not intended for deep scuba diving. Since the Pro V3 housing is lightweight but rugged, it is ideal for photographing surfing and other water sports when you need to be in the water, but at the surface.
